Sascha dreams of hosting his own TV show, Adrian longs to meet a woman who understands him and Marie hopes to land a job as an architect. Their paths would never have crossed had they not ended up in three adjacent cubicles of the same call centre.
Sascha, Adrian and Marie are young and they need money. Full of confidence and well versed in the powers of persuasion they promise potential customers a super flatrate at incredibly low prices. "Every call is a new opportunity", at least according to their boss Richard Harms. The call centre is his life and his marriage in ruins. Even more so when the digital display board gets installed and the department is faced with an ultimatum: either sales figures increase by five per cent within four weeks or the department will be shut down. Figures and quotas begin to compete against dreams and hopes.
